I have anxiety and a hard time falling asleep. It can take me an hour or more to fall asleep. With a new baby I needed to be able to fall sleep fast if I wanted to get any sleep in. Who knows how long he would be down for?
So I bought a weighted blanket.
The thing feels like getting cuddled or like a cat is sleeping on you. It is great!
For a while I was getting too hot at night with it and stopped using it. I decided to come back to it recently and I forgot how wonderful it is. Even when my brain is going it cuts down on how long it takes me to fall asleep.
It is even nice to just lay under while watching TV.
