Step 1
Surround yourself with the smell of coffee until you enjoy it.
Step 2
Start with a few Starbucks style overly sweet drinks.
Step 3
Move on to cream and sugar one day when you just want something warm to drink. (A lot of sugar probably)
Step 4
Add less and less sugar each time because you really don’t need that much extra sugar in your life.
Step 5
Now cut the cream because maybe it is fine black.
Step 6
It is not fine black, please add the cream back!
Step 7
Feel like the living dead until you are half way into your first cup each morning.
Step 8
Have some in the afternoon because you like the taste now.
Step 9
You are not able to go to bed because of that afternoon coffee.
As you lay in bed awake you vow to never drink coffee again.
Your alarm goes off.
You feel terrible.
You drag yourself to the kitchen.
You just need something to get you going.
And there it is next to the toaster…
Coffee.
