Accountability posts are where I lay out some of the habits I want to work on and my plan to do them! I will check back in on them in a month or so to update what worked and what I would change next time around.
For August we are going to be going out of town for a few days with Roland so things might get thrown off. It is also just an otherwise busy month for us in general. This is also my first accountability Post so I don’t want to bite off more than I can chew.
I do best when I do a habit every day. Some habits only need to be done a couple days a week like working out, but I know I will not stick to them unless I do it every day so each habit is set up to be done daily.
Habits:
Drinking 2 liters of water a day.
My water bottle was dirty and my good habit was lost. It is clean again and I am going to work in some back up plans.
Wearing my personal uniform 4-6 days a week.
I picked a personal uniform and I am ready to test it out! I need to go pick up a couple more copies of the outfit, but come August I am testing it out. Expect a full report come September.
Yoga and meditation every day.
Since my personal uniform is yoga friendly I can throw down some down dog any time! I also want to get back into my meditation habit since my sleep/insomnia has been real bad the past week.
Work on my children’s book every day.
I have wanted to write a kids book for a long time and this year I decided to actually get started on it. I have been bad about making progress though so I am building it into my habits.
Okay so this seems kind of like a lot right after I said I was going to keep it simple. BUT the water and personal uniform habits will not take all that much effort on my part since I already have a decent water habit.
I also am excited to start so in this last week and a half of July I am going to get a head start to work out the kinks.

Below are the details of my habits for August. I am using the tiny habits theory of starting so easy you just do it along with making them SMART (Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Relevant, Time based)
Water
Weeks 0-2
Finish at least 1 liter of water before 1pm every day.
Weeks 3-4
Finish 1 liter by 1pm and an additional liter by bedtime.
Personal Uniform
Weeks 0-2
Wear personal uniform 3-4 days a week.
Weeks 2-4
Wear personal uniform 4-6 days a week.
Yoga
Week 0-1
3 poses before 7am every day
Week 2
6 poses before 7am every day
Week 3
1 sun salutation before 7am every day
Week 4
1 sun salutation with additional 3 fun poses before 7am every day
Meditation
Week 0-1
1 minute of meditation before bed
Week 2
2 minutes of meditation before bed
Week 3
4 minutes of meditation before bed
Week 4
6 minutes of meditation before bed
Children’s book
Weeks 0-1 – Create outline of book
Work for 5 min on outline or page layouts before 8am
Week 2
Work for 5 min on outline or page layouts before 8am
Week 3
Work for 5 min on outline or page layouts before 8am
